Real estate agents rely on positive testimonials from past clients to get them their new clients. If they help a client find their dream home after spending countless hours, days, weeks or months sifting through all the Toronto real estate listings that person will remember everything that agent did for them. Do good things, good things happen. It's a pretty simple concept, really. If a real estate agent in Kingston Ontario goes out of their way to help a client buy or sell a piece of real estate that client will go out of their way to tell anyone they know in need of a real estate agent to hire them.

Any good North Vancouver, British Columbia or Richmond Virginia real estate agent knows that. It's what makes a good real estate agent great. Many of the top successful New York or Brantford real estate agents will agree that part of what got them to the top of the real estate game was by willing to go the extra mile for their client or firm when it was needed. If a client needed to go to every home showing on the market before making a decision, that agent would do so. Even if it might take up a lot of their time, they knew that if they didn't do that for their client somebody else would.

The top real estate agents listen to their clients and firms to figure out what their needs and wants are and then go out of their way to get them what they want or need. A real estate agent who cares about their clients or firm is a real estate agent who will continue to get work on a steady basis. Going the extra mile is worth it to them. Sure, it might provide them with a little more cash in their bank accounts but there's something more worthy of going the extra mile for a client than getting paid.

It's being able to watch someone who's been looking at Hopewell Junction homes light up the moment their offer on their dram home has been accepted. That's why real estate agents do what they do. At least the good ones who care, anyway. There's no greater moment an agent can experience than the one where their client has gotten the home of their dreams. If it means putting in a little extra work, then so be it.
